Lesbian and Gay
Youth Manchester (LGYM) is a Lesbian, Gay & Bisexual (LGB)
Project based in the city centre for LGB's aged 14 to 25.
We provide a safe
space for LGB's young people to feel safe and at ease in.
We also provide a variety of activities for young LGB's to
take part. These include outdoor activities such as rock climbing,
canoeing, cycling and walking. We also do arts and craft based
work, for example banner making for Europride, environmental
art and painting.
We try to arrange
residentials at least three times a year. Our last major residential
was to Dublin in Southern Ireland.
We also have strong
links to other organisations both LGB and non LGB so there
opportunities to do even more than what is on offer at LGYM.
Young people also have a big say in activities that go on
during group time.
Oh Yes... and
Membership to LGYM is also free!
Directions
Were are Currently

the Manchester Metropolitain University. The road which LGYM
is on is called Sidney Street. The biggest landmark near us
is a cafe/bar place called KRO2, we are just past this on
